Restore the Family: Military Transitions provides vital support to the military community in a unique and unparalleled way through military transition professionals (MTP).
We are dedicated to assisting all members of the US Military Community (widows, injured veterans, all branches, current service members, veterans, and immediate families). Our Military Transition Professionals are immensely thorough, skilled, and have a results-oriented mindset. Not only that sets us apart from all others, but we never say goodbye to clients. We want to see how our clients have been, we want to mold a supportive community around them, and as we all know, things change, families grow, passions mature, accidents happen, and IED's go off. We are always your first responders for the professional life.
The services at RTFMT help individuals craft professional skills. To read about specific services, find your program and that will give you all the details of those services for your program. The aim is to bridge the gap between military and civilian life, providing comprehensive assistance to all who need it. RTFMT is pioneering support services for military families which are not available in most transition programs in the US. Our vision emphasizes creating the best action plans, unmatched time in research, and assisting in every area of civilian life for those who have served and their families, ensuring a seamless transition.
Many veterans can give testimony that providers and disability examiners do not read through the members' medical profile long enough to be accurate. An example is when one examiner told RTFMT's CEO during his examination, "You reported that you black out after headaches." Nope. Not true at all. At RTFMT, we do NOT engage in speed work, in reading your profile during the session, or any other act of impeachment as a service provider. The goal is to get you and/or your familiy to your life goals as smooth as physics allows.
Again, RTFMT does NOT work for you ONLY during session times. That is a pet-peeve of the CEO. And one that he does not let slide from any staff member.
In a session example: if you are scheduled to see an MTP on Tuesday at 2:00 pm, the MTP will open your "session" at 1:00 to go over the information again. This is also a psychological formation, because people think of new things after they have had a second glance. Now they can work on that new idea before you arrive. More so, if you wanted to learn about being a combat diver, the MTP might end your in-person session early to get into research if there is nothing else you need to cover. And schedule in the next opening you can make it to go over all the research that the MTP found about the topic.
With a commitment to excellence, the organization tailors its assistance to meet the specific needs of its clients, fostering a sense of community and belonging. This is done through one-on-one and/or family sessions. No client will ever meet with us and get a cookie cut service. Just like clinical mental health counseling, our services all begin with assessments to find what areas are needed. Those areas are what we help with.
